A Taste for Twinings

 


Several years ago I was able to be in London for New Year's. I bought plenty of tea to bring back--and had to visit this place.  It was closed for the holiday, but it was still a fun sight to see.  



I received a box of Twinings Earl Grey in my stocking each Christmas since I was a child.  I still favor Earl Grey, it is often just right.  In the oddness of 2020, I find myself sipping a lot of tea.  Often the familiar and comfort of my old faithful varieties is what I need.

Stillness

 I think there is something to the saying that you make time for what is really important.  I had been in a rather busy period of life until March 13.  Suddenly, all the obligations were cancelled.  The booster meetings, banquets, church events, work events, and even my work---cleared from the calendar.  I didn't miss the busy, full days.  For a while I enjoyed the simple quiet days.  My hope is that I continue the embrace moments of stillness as I go back to work.  I learned unexpectedly, that I enjoy it.
